Safety Professional | West Point, PA

HazTek is seeking an experienced EHS Safety Professional in West Point PA to support a pharmaceutical construction project involving demolition and hazardous material remediation activities. This role requires a proactive safety leader who is comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily EHS oversight for demolition and hazardous material remediation activities
• Conduct routine site inspections audits and safety observations
• Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements
• Set up calibrate and interpret gas monitoring equipment
• Identify hazards recommend corrective actions and promote a strong safety culture
• Participate in toolbox talks safety meetings and incident investigations
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting

• OSHA 30 required 510 highly preferred
• Experience supporting demolition and lead remediation projects
• Ability to set up and read gas monitoring equipment
• Current HAZMAT physical required
• Strong communication and hazard recognition skills
• Experience in pharmaceutical or industrial construction environments preferred
