Dohrn is seeking a Full-Time Safety Office Supervisor at our Corporate Office in Rock Island Il!
Pay ranges between $60000-$65000/year
Hours: Monday-Friday 9hr/day

Position Summary:
Oversee the administrative safety task of ensuring compliance and regulatory compliance.

• Oversee workers compensation program
• Perform post injury investigation and review
• Work within the scope of OSHA DOT and EPA regulatory compliance
• Supervise office staff
• Perform other duties as needed

• Valid Drivers License
• Familiarity with OSHA DOT and EPA regulations
• Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills needed to effectively
• Communicate with Insurance adjuster Legal counsel Employees and upper management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excel Spreadsheets knowledge
• Detail-Oriented analytical thinker and problem solver
• Ability to manage others and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent attendance in office work

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Extensive travel required weekly to all remote terminals (4-5 days per week)
Primarily sedentary work which involves sitting most of the time
May be occasionally required to exert up to 10 pounds of force and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects
The general office environment is favorable; Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are minimal hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise dust etc;
Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitor
Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering grasping and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists hands and fingers
Talking and hearing required to communicate with and listen to others to share or receive information; will be exposed to noise including telephone office machinery and conversations of others
May be subject to the Working Conditions of a Driver or Dockworker in the line of training and or safety audits
