Job Summary
As a Safety Manager in Spring House PA youll lead the charge in building a culture where safety is more than a priority its a core value. Youll ensure best practices are implemented compliance standards are met and every team member goes home safe each day.
HazTek is seeking a seasoned Construction Safety Manager to support a large-scale capital construction project at an active pharmaceutical/industrial facility. This role requires a collaborative leader who can integrate contractor safety programs with site operations while driving visible leadership and a strong safety culture.
- Develop and implement the project Construction Safety Plan
- Review and approve contractor safety plans risk assessments and high-risk activity procedures
- Provide visible safety leadership through audits inspections and field engagement
- Lead contractor coordination meetings and support project team collaboration
- Oversee permit-to-work systems LOTO heavy lifts and high-risk construction activities
- Monitor safety performance validate reporting and coordinate incident investigations
- Support commissioning pre-start-up safety reviews and project closeout documentation
- 5 years of construction safety experience in industrial pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments
- Experience working in active/operating facilities preferred
- Strong communication and contractor management skills
- OSHA 30 required; CHST CSP or equivalent preferred
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
