Job Summary
Oversee daily safety activities for low-voltage network and communication cabling construction
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations site-specific safety requirements and company safety policies
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards
- Perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA/JHA) risk assessments and corrective-action follow-up
- Conduct safety orientations toolbox talks and safety meetings
- Monitor contractors and subcontractors for compliance with safety procedures
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices
- Monitor safety related to ladder use elevated work material handling electrical exposure cable installation and other construction activities
- Investigate incidents near misses and unsafe conditions and prepare appropriate reports
- Maintain safety documentation inspection records training records and incident reports
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers site leadership contractors and employees
- Communicate safety requirements between Korean-speaking and English-speaking project teams
- Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project
Qualifications :
- OSHA 30 certification required
- Previous experience as a Safety Manager Safety Supervisor EHS Manager or similar construction safety professional
- Hands-on construction site safety experience
- Experience supporting low-voltage network/communication cabling telecommunications electrical or related construction projects strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of OSHA construction safety regulations
- Experience conducting site inspections JSA/JHA toolbox talks safety training and incident investigations
- Ability to work effectively with contractors subcontractors Project Managers and field personnel
- Strong safety documentation and reporting skills
- Korean/English bilingual required
- Ability to work on-site in Jeffersonville OH for the duration of the project
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 30
- Experience with network infrastructure or structured cabling installation projects
- Previous safety experience on large-scale industrial manufacturing data center or technology infrastructure construction projects
- Experience coordinating safety requirements with Korean corporate/project teams
