Qualifying Questions:

• Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance

• Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role

Summary:

• Conducts engineering and technical analyses for systems safety assessments.

• Documents findings for safety and investigative reports in compliance with standards.

• Reviews problem reports for safety impact and identifies necessary corrective actions.

• Performs SSHAR (System Safety Hazard Analysis Report) analysis in accordance with MIL-STD-882E.

• Performs SAR (System Assessment Report) analysis in accordance with MIL-STD-882E.

• Performs HTS (Hazard Tracking System) analysis in accordance with MIL-STD-882E.

• Performs FHA (Functional Hazard Analysis) analysis in accordance with MIL-STD-882E.

• Supports customer facing meetings for safety reviews and technical discussions.

• Supports SSTRP (System Safety Technical Review Process) activities.

• Applies MIL-STD-882E standards for system safety engineering and analysis.

Requirements:

• Active Secret Security Clearance Required to Start.

• Experience in SSHAR SAR HTS and FHA analysis in accordance with MIL-STD-882E.

• Experience conducting engineering and technical analyses for safety assessments.

• Experience documenting findings for safety and investigative reports.

• Experience reviewing problem reports for safety impact.

• Experience supporting customer facing meetings for safety reviews.

• Experience supporting SSTRP (System Safety Technical Review Process).

• Knowledge of MIL-STD-882E standards and safety engineering methodologies.

• Ability to perform system safety analysis for aerospace or defense programs.

• Ability to communicate technical safety findings to engineering teams and customers.
