Job Summary
Through student employment in Student Affairs a student employee will maintain and balance an acceptable level of academic standing and positive personal growth while developing transferable skills including professionalism leadership inter-cultural awareness and interpersonal development.
- Currently enrolled student at UWS in good academic standing
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of a wide-range of sports or willingness to learn
- Experience in program planning
- Officiating Experience
- CPR/AED-Adult & First Aid certifications
- Bloodborne Pathogen Training to Level: 2A
- Schedule all leagues and tournament games
- Schedule manage develop and evaluate intramural officials
- Assist in the development and implementation of intramural officials trainings
- Organize and attend all officials trainings and clinics
- Oversee Campus Recreation facilities during and after intramural events
- Oversee the set up and take down of intramural or special events
- Communicate effectively with all staff members
- Provide disciplinary action to intramural officials and/or participants as necessary
- Conduct and supervise captains meetings
- Actively recruit participants
- Complete all necessary forms and paperwork
- Attend all required meetings
- Other duties as assigned
- 10-20 hours per week
- Must be available to work nights and weekends.
