Summary:
-
Perform aircraft interior removal installation and fabrication including:
-
Galleys
-
Closets
-
Lavatories
-
Bulkheads
-
Doors & panels
-
Trim carpeting cabinetry and soundproofing
-
-
Ensure all work meets FAA repair station company and quality requirements.
-
Mentor and train Interior Installation Technicians reviewing work for quality compliance.
-
Lead projects and coordinate materials documentation and task execution as needed.
-
Utilize material tracking systems to manage parts squawks and work sign-offs.
-
Use hand and power tools including band saws shears sanders and brakes.
-
Remove and reinstall nut plates inserts fasteners hardware and fittings.
-
Support Lean/continuous improvement initiatives safety 5S and housekeeping standards.

Assist with aircraft maintenance activities and adapt to changing schedules and priorities.

Support aircraft certification and final phase testing including flight test activities as required.
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
-
4 years of aircraft interior installation fabrication or related experience.
-
Aerospace industry experience preferred.
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.

Experience using hand tools and power tools related to aircraft interiors installation/removal.

Advanced knowledge of aircraft interior installation and fabrication processes including:
-
Galleys closets lavatories side ledges bulkheads doors and panels
-
Composite materials such as Nomex honeycomb fiberglass Lexan and acrylic
-

Must be computer literate.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-
Ability to climb ladders work in confined spaces lift up to 40 lbs and work any shift.

Must be able to read write speak and understand English.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
