JOB TITLE: RS Aircraft Interior Installation Technician IV - 2nd Shift
LOCATION: Dallas TX
PAY RATE: $33.81/hour

Summary:

  • Perform aircraft interior removal installation and fabrication including:

    • Galleys

    • Closets

    • Lavatories

    • Bulkheads

    • Doors & panels

    • Trim carpeting cabinetry and soundproofing

  • Ensure all work meets FAA repair station company and quality requirements.

  • Mentor and train Interior Installation Technicians reviewing work for quality compliance.

  • Lead projects and coordinate materials documentation and task execution as needed.

  • Utilize material tracking systems to manage parts squawks and work sign-offs.

  • Use hand and power tools including band saws shears sanders and brakes.

  • Remove and reinstall nut plates inserts fasteners hardware and fittings.

  • Support Lean/continuous improvement initiatives safety 5S and housekeeping standards.

  • Assist with aircraft maintenance activities and adapt to changing schedules and priorities.

  • Support aircraft certification and final phase testing including flight test activities as required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 4 years of aircraft interior installation fabrication or related experience.

  • Aerospace industry experience preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.

  • Experience using hand tools and power tools related to aircraft interiors installation/removal.

  • Advanced knowledge of aircraft interior installation and fabrication processes including:

    • Galleys closets lavatories side ledges bulkheads doors and panels

    • Composite materials such as Nomex honeycomb fiberglass Lexan and acrylic

  • Must be computer literate.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to climb ladders work in confined spaces lift up to 40 lbs and work any shift.

  • Must be able to read write speak and understand English.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
