RRT/CRT - Respiratory Therapy

$10000 sign on bonus for eligible candidates!

Full-time Day shift

Job Description:

The respiratory therapist assesses treats and monitors patients with respiratory diseases and conditions. This includes the delivery of medicated and non-medicated therapy as ordered by the provider. Additionally therapists provide invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilator support for acute respiratory failure. As part of patient assessment and management the therapist performs diagnostic test addition therapist assists in departmental operations by addicting with quality improvement projects equipment and supplies. The certified therapist follows all applicable rules and regulations established by the licensure board depending on the state in which respiratory therapy is practiced.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited respiratory therapy program required.

  • Current Kentucky Respiratory Care license required.

  • Registered Respiratory therapist (RRT) OR Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in respiratory therapy preferred.
