RRT – Respiratory Therapist 26-06029

Location: Muncie IN
Shift: Night Shift 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (5:30 PM 6:00 AM)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel assignment in Muncie Indiana. This opportunity is ideal for respiratory therapists with strong adult critical care experience who are comfortable working in ICU settings and managing complex respiratory care needs.

• Provide respiratory care to adult ICU and general care patients
• Perform airway management and ventilator management
• Administer respiratory medications and oxygen therapy
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis
• Manage BiPAP CPAP nebulizer therapy and pulmonary toileting
• Perform suctioning and other respiratory interventions as needed
• Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Document patient care accurately within the EMR system
• Maintain compliance with respiratory care protocols and patient safety standards

• Minimum 2 years of recent RRT experience required
• Active Indiana Respiratory License required at time of submission
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NBRC RRT
• Education must be:
  • In-person
  • CoARC accredited
  • Regionally accredited through CHEA

• ABGs
• Oxygen therapy
• Medication administration
• Suctioning
• Pulmonary toileting
• Nebulizer treatments
• BiPAP and CPAP management

• Trauma facility experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Emergency Room experience
• Bronchoscopy support
• Cerner charting experience
• Experience with Hamilton G5 and Philips V60 equipment
