The University seeks a dedicated leader to serve as Head Coach and Program Director for its intercollegiate club rowing program during the 9month academic year. This role works with the student-led club team to oversee all aspects of operations within the educational mission of the University the Department of Student Life and the Student Government Association ( SGA ). The coach will educate studentathletes on the value of sport foster competitive readiness for US Rowing events and ensure full compliance with University SGA and US Rowing regulations. Key responsibilities include planning and leading practices preparing for competitions evaluating athletes supervising parttime assistant coaches and managing risk and safety protocols. The coach will also support student leadership development coordinate student engagement efforts understand team finances and engage in public relations on behalf of the program. Attendance at competitionsincluding safely towing rowing shellsis required. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to the Universitys Our Common Ground values and contribute to a positive growthoriented team environment.
Desirable Qualifications
Familiarity with University policies standards and procedures in related areas desirable. Lifeguard or on-water safety training and experience highly desirable. Experience working with university-level students highly desirable.
