Location

• Requires daily onsite attendance; this is not a remote-work position.

What youll do

This is a paid Summer Engineering Internship Program (mid-May to early August).As an intern with our Austin Software group youll workto assist in our remote operated vehicle program.

Your job responsibilities and projects will be based upon your experience and educational background to provide real life application of your classroom knowledge. Youll work closely with mentors to ensure your developmental goals are met and that you meet your performance expectations.

Functions

ESSENTIAL

• Carries out tasks as assigned by Engineering Lead and the Software Development Manager. Tasks would generally be C development and documentation.

• Interface inside and outside a meeting setting with project team members and clients.

Qualifications

• BS MS or PhD candidate at an accredited University pursuing a degree in DevOps Software Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2.5 GPA
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience with DevOps
• Experience with GitHub

• Must be a US citizen or legal Permanent Resident

• Ability to work in a high-performance team on projects with constantly shifting schedules

DESIRED

This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.

• Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night

• Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the work place

• Work surface is stable (flat)
