Route Coordinator

Job Summary

The Route Coordinator works with route drivers in providing prompt efficient and courteous service to all customers through utilization of computer routing system.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Assigns and organizes driver routes ensuring route efficiency based on stops and route costs.
• Completes daily weekly monthly and quarterly reports on tickets manifests costs and routing.
• Schedules Mobile Service Unit and Tank Delivery to customers site including input and follow-up with Customer Service Representative in the system.
• Maintain current customer accounts through personal and telephone contact ensuring quality service to each customer in coordination with Customer Service Representative.
• Works with the MDM Team to ensure new customers are set up promptly.
• Enter Raw Material tickets into computer system.
• Fills in for other Office personnel when needed.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED..

Preferred Qualifications

• Route system experience preferred.
• Strong Computer skills.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficient.
• Works well with others in a team environment.
• Communicates clearly in verbal and written form.
• Highly organized; superior time management skills.
• Good math and computer skills.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to walk stand sit climb balance stoop bend and kneel.
• Occasionally must push pull move or lift up to 50lbs.
• Regularly required reach with hands and arms.

Work Environment

Job functions will be carried out at a plant location and/or office environment..
