Room Service Associate

Full Time First Shift

Responsible for serving meals to patients in a professional and efficient manner.

Job Duties:

• Complies with dietary restrictions on special modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of diet order limitations.
• Demonstrates knowledge of all therapeutic diets and the proper foods and condiments served with the particular diets.
• Gives all patients an opportunity to order their meals including calling isolation patients for their selections.
• Interacts with nursing to ensure patients diet prescriptions are accurate and patients food needs are met.
• Offers alternatives to menu as allowed on prescribed diet in accordance with food allergies and sensitivities cultural ethnic and religious preferences.

Preferred Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• One to three months experience
• Food Handler card or Servsafe certificate preferred
