Room Attendant Soho House Austin (Temporary)

The Role

A reliable and friendly Room Attendant will provide superb customer service to our guests. Your duties will include ensuring that assigned rooms are fully stocked cleaned and serviced to a high standard. You should also be able to resolve guest complaints and queries promptly and in a polite manner.

To be a successful Room Attendant you must be honest organized dependable and have detailed knowledge of and comply with all housekeeping policies procedures and be passionate about creating and tidy spaces with a great can-do attitude!

Main Duties

• To ensure cleanliness of guest deep cleaning rooms on the daily basis ensure all linen is changed on the daily basis.
• Removing of all linen and trash from the room Cleaning of bathrooms and disinfecting.
• Replacing all used amenities after every guest Departure.
• Prepare bed and with linen ensure linen is free of stain and or rips.
• Reporting of any defects in a guest room and or thru out the hotel.
• Vacuum every room Sweep and mop daily.
• Understanding and knowledge of property amenities.
• Assisting guests as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

• Basic verbal communication skills.
• Flexible schedule.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
• Regular and reliable attendance

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to seize grasp turn and hold objects with hands.
• Must be able to make periodical fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the property to others.
• Must be able to move pull push carry or lift at least 30 pounds.
• Must be able to occasionally kneel bend crouch and climb is required.
• Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting cleaning and stooping.
• Must be able to stand walk lift and bend for long periods of time.
