Job Summary

As a Room Attendant you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas. You play a key role in ensuring guest satisfaction by creating a clean welcoming and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and service guest rooms bathrooms and assigned public areas to hotel standards.

  • Replace linens and towels make beds and restock room supplies such as soap shampoo toilet paper and beverages.

  • Dust furniture vacuum carpets clean windows and ensure all surfaces are spotless and sanitary.

  • Remove trash and recyclables from rooms and dispose of them properly.

  • Report any maintenance issues safety hazards or lost-and-found items to the appropriate department.

  • Follow health and safety regulations and infection control policies.

  • Handle guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally escalating to supervisors when necessary.

  • Use cleaning equipment and chemicals responsibly and in accordance with training and safety standards.

  • Ensure daily assigned room quotas are completed efficiently and thoroughly.

  • Maintain equipment and housekeeping carts in clean and good working condition.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel cleaning is a plus but not required; training will be provided.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

  • Physical stamina to perform tasks such as bending lifting standing and walking for extended periods.

  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

  • A positive attitude reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced hospitality environment

  • May involve exposure to cleaning chemicals

  • Required to wear a uniform and follow grooming standards

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to hear understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff vendors and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to bend and twist push and pull stoop and kneel
