What Youll Do:

For some traveling is fun and sometimes for business; however many travelers miss being home. Our Housekeeping team makes our hotels feel like home. As a Room Attendant you help create guest experiences that are enjoyable and comfortable.

As a Room Attendant youll be doing a lot of things around here (boredom wont be an issue). Here are a few of the tasks that will keep you busy on a daily basis:

• Clean bathtub toilet sink walls mirrors tiles counters and floor surfaces using cloths mops sponges brushes and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head bending and stooping.
• Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
• Strip and make beds changing bed linens which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Dust all furniture pictures drawers window ledges and shelves thoroughly.
• Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.
• Replenish amenities linens and supplies in guest rooms.
• Sign for room keys retrieve push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart. Visually inspect the room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion of the room.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Where Youve Been:

Were looking for someone with at least one month of related experience. But most importantly you must have a passion for customer service and be able to work with others seamlessly. This means you have no problem collaborating within a diverse team dynamic and working calmly under pressure. This job is high energy and anything but dull!

When Youre Here:

This is not a job where you sit behind a desk. Be prepared to move around because more than half of the time you will be standing/sitting carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds walking bending/twisting climbing stairs and more. You also must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights weekends and holidays.
