Registered Nurse- Operating Room

Work location:4400 Long Prairie Rd. Flower Mound TX 75028
Work hours:Full Time Days working 3- 12-hour shifts on Tuesdays Thursdays and Fridays (36 hours weekly). On-call requirements will be discusses in person.
Department highlights:
- Provides perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room including circulating and/or scrubbing for a variety of surgical procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique and patient safety standards
- Collaborates closely with surgeons anesthesia providers and surgical technologiststo ensure efficient case flow accurate instrumentation and optimal patient outcomes
- Supports a high-acuity fast-paced OR environment utilizing advanced surgical technology and adhering to best practices in infection prevention and perioperative care
Heres What You Need
- Nursing Diploma (Nursing) Required
OR - Associates Degree in Nursing Required
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing Preferred
- One (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse orcompletion of a Registered Nurse (RN) residency program Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) Required upon hire
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required prior to providing independent patient care; must be maintained quarterly
