Position Specific Description

Join NextEra Energy as an RNG Production Technician II at our Trail Ridge facility in Jacksonville FL. This position is responsible for monitoring operating and maintaining equipment within our RNG production facility. The individual will ensure a steady supply of spec grade feedstock RNG by overseeing compressors pumps valving and other process equipment.

The individual will conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks to keep equipment in optimal condition promptly identifying and addressing any issues and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Additionally the position will maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance tracking and production activities while collaborating with the team to maintain a clean organized work environment. Adherence to all safety protocols and participation in safety meetings and training sessions are also key aspects of this role.

Specific duties include monitoring plant operations assisting with startup shutdown and operations of facility equipment identifying and resolving problems ensuring strict adherence to safety and environmental rules conducting site inspections and audits performing preventative maintenance observing gauges and indicators to ensure proper machine function comprehending and interpreting P&IDs and SOPs and maintaining a clean hazard-free work environment. Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as well as operating a forklift to safely move materials within the facility is required.
