Registered Nurse (RN)
$34 plus shift difference

Harris Hill is looking to add a Registered Nurse (RN) to its nursing this role youll provide high-quality nursing care perform clinical assessments administer medications and treatments and help ensure the health safety and well-being of residents. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide nursing care in accordance with resident assessments care plans and facility policies
  • Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in condition communicating concerns to providers supervisors and families as appropriate
  • Administer medications treatments IV therapies and enteral feedings within the RN scope of practice
  • Accurately document assessments care provided treatments and resident responses
  • Supervise and support Nursing Assistants to ensure quality resident care and timely completion of assigned tasks
  • Coordinate care with physicians nurse practitioners therapists and other interdisciplinary team members
  • Ensure resident care plans and clinical documentation remain current and accurate
  • Follow infection control safety resident rights and confidentiality standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing staff education activities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Valid NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License required
  • Current CPR Certification required
  • Experience in a skilled nursing facility or with the geriatric population preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment medication administration and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication organizational and documentation abilities
  • Ability to supervise nursing assistants and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to providing compassionate resident-centered care
