Pomeroy Living Sterling Skilled is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead and oversee nursing operations within our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and proven leadership skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care while managing the nursing staff effectively.

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities on the unit to ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide direct patient care as needed and ensure nursing care plans are implemented effectively.
• Monitor and evaluate patient care to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Manage staffing schedules performance evaluations and ongoing staff development.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records and nursing activities.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory surveys.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff promoting professional growth and development.

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
• Proven experience as an RN Unit Manager or in a similar leadership role within a skilled nursing or long-term care facility.
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide hands-on nursing care.
• Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards in skilled nursing care.

• Experienced in nursing leadership and unit management.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in staff supervision and development.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
