Lake Regional Healthcare is currently seeking a Circulator Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver the best possible nursing care in LRHs patient-focused setting.
SUMMARY:
Registered Nurse who functions in the Surgical Services setting specifically but not limited to the role of Circulator. Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with surgeon and anesthetist continuously and as needed about patient condition and plan of care during intraoperative phase. Demonstrates knowledge and competence in utilizing the computer system to perform nursing responsibilities. Hours of the position will vary based on the surgery schedule and includes a rotatingweekday weekend and holiday callrotation.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Associate degree or above in nursing. Six months RN experience preferred to work in the Operating Room.
CERTIFICATION and LICENSURE:
Current Iowa RN license. Current certifications in BLS ACLS PALS and Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporting or achievement according to hospital Education Policy.
