Job Summary
CHC is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat inspire support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of has been a critical part of Ohios efforts to treat and prevent substance use disorders since 1974.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Supervisor to join our healthcare team in Akron OH. The RN Supervisor will oversee nursing staff ensure high-quality patient care and support the implementation of clinical policies and procedures. This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide guidance training and support to registered nurses and other clinical personnel.
- Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations policies and standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist in staffing scheduling and performance evaluations of nursing staff.
- Address and resolve patient and staff concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to nursing activities and patient care.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Nursing Degree with two years clinical experience current Ohio RN license supervisory experience and skills experience with substance abuse/chemically dependent patients. Demonstrates the ability to suggest or recommend persons for hire fire advancement promotion or other changes in status.
