Our Emergency Department: Our 23-bed adult emergency/urgent care department with 45000 patient visits annually features a 4-bed urgent care area embedded within the ED for patients requiring immediate care. Our private rooms are equipped with up-to-date technology and we provide specialized care pathways for diverse patient needs including elders and behavioral health patients.

Your Role as an RN: As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department youll provide compassionate high-quality care to patients in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Youll assess plan implement and evaluate patient care ensuring the highest standards of safety and compassion while making a lasting impact on patients health and well-being.

• Provide direct compassionate patient care while adhering to Legacy Healths high standards for patient assessment care delivery and transfer.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated holistic care for every patient.
• Advocate for patients by offering education and emotional support helping them navigate their health journeys.
• Leverage cutting-edge electronic health systems to accurately document patient information and provide seamless care.

What Were Looking For:

Education:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program as required by licensure.
• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is strongly preferred. If youre working towards your BSN we encourage you to apply!
• For certain roles a BSN is required. We also consider RNs without a BSN based on clinical experience and with approval from the Chief Nursing Officer.

Experience:

• At least one year of nursing experience or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program (or equivalent program).
• Additional clinical experience may be required depending on the department.

Skills & Qualities:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect effectively with patients families and colleagues.
• Ability to navigate and utilize electronic health systems.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities because in this role every day is different and your expertise will make all the difference.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA).
