Description
As a nurse at ChildServe you will join a team of caring professionals in Iowas only compressive rehabilitation program designed exclusively for children and teens.Our intensive medical and nursing services support children with a variety of conditions from birth to 21 years of age.

What Youll Do
- Within the nursing scope of practice physicians orders and the patients care plan make decisions and deliver a full range of nursing care based on the fundamentals of the nursing process.
- Maintain accurate completed and timely records as defined by nursing standards of practice and ChildServepolicies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively respectfully and professionally with patients physicians families school personnel ChildServestaff and others to assure assigned childs care needs are assessed communicated and met.
- Provide oversight of the care delivered by Licensed Practical Nurses and paraprofessionals.
- Provide training to children families and staff as needed to help advance the skills and knowledge of all people associated with a childs care delivery.
- Demonstrate good stewardship of ChildServeequipment supplies and environment.
- Complete other duties as assigned
What Youll Need
- Current valid license as a RN/LPN in Iowa.
- Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Ability to communicate effectively in reading writing and speaking the English language
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs be mobile within the assigned work area and frequently bend lift reach and stand.
- This position requires a seasonal COVID vaccination or approved exemption.
