At Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital our experienced and compassionate team provides expert pediatric care for infants children and teens with complex medical conditions. Ranked the #1 Childrens Hospital in Florida and nationally recognized in multiple specialties we are committed to advancing pediatric healthcare through innovation collaboration and excellence.

As a 259-bed teaching hospital with more than half of its beds dedicated to intensive care services we serve as the regional pediatric referral center for Floridas west coast providing advanced critical care complex surgical procedures and innovative therapies. Through strong community partnerships we also support neonatology and pediatric services across the region.

The Operating Room features 10 fully equipped surgical rooms 2 special procedure rooms serving patients of all acuity levels. Our busiest specialties are ENT Urology and Ortho but we also see many cases in general surgery plastics GI neurosurgery dental and ophthalmology.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Masters of Science Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred
  • Current State of Florida RN license required.
  • 5 years experience in pediatric or neonatal nursing required.
  • Experience in nursing education preferred.
  • Specialty nursing certification or Epic Credentialed Trainer required. Note: Epic Credentialed Trainer may be required based on the needs of the unit/department.
  • Simulation Instructor training required within one year of hire.
  • Formal training in educational theory instructional design or teaching strategies preferred.
  • Previous clinical research patient safety and/or teaching experience preferred.
  • Experience in designing and implementing educational programs preferred.

Salary Range: Minimum 42.17/hour - Maximum 65.37/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
