Job Title:RN - Pediatric ICU
Location: Hackensack NJ
Type: Contract 13 Weeks (With high possibility of extension or permanent placement)
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:30 AM 3x12s 36 Hours/Week

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking RN - Pediatric ICU for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hackensack NJ.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate pediatric patients and assist physicians with patient care planning and implementation
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Monitor patient conditions administer medications and provide therapeutic nursing interventions
• Document patient care accurately according to hospital standards and clinical priorities
• Manage care for critically ill pediatric patients in PICU settings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices and patient safety initiatives
• Float as required within Pediatrics NICU and Pediatric ER Holding units
• Maintain effective communication with patients families and healthcare teams

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Active New Jersey RN License or Multi-State Compact License required
• BLS Certification (AHA) required
• PALS Certification required
• Telemetry Certification required
