Position Details:
RN Perioperative/PACU- Cody WY
Location : Cody WY 82414
Duration : 13 Weeks Contract
Pay Range : $50-$54/hr
Shift Timing : Days: 0700-1730 x4 days/week; call required
Position Overview:
The Outpatient Services/PACU Nurse is responsible for the safe preparation education and discharge of the patient scheduled for a procedure. Responsibility includes assessment diagnosis treatment and evaluation of the patient in outpatient services pre-op post-op PACU and procedural sedation. The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.
CERTS: BLS ACLS and PALS required. TNCC certification required within 6 months of hire or as class availability allows. Current Wyoming licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse. National perioperative certification preferred.
Experience: Prefer at least 2 years of experience in an acute care or surgical services area.
