RN OR RNFA Robotics

- Position: Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) Robotics Level 4 Operating Room
- Location: New York State (NY RN License required)
- Start Date: 6/8
- Schedule: Monday-Friday day shifts; on call as needed; no weekends or holidays
- Responsibilities:
- Assist in robotic surgeries across various specialties:
- Robotic Urology
- Robotic Gynecology (GYN)
- Robotic Colorectal
- Robotic Surgical Oncology (e.g. Whipples gastrectomies hernias)
- Robotic Thoracic
- Robotic General Surgery (e.g. gall bladders appendectomies)
- Provide perioperative RNFA support in a Level 1 trauma OR (preferred)
- Maintain compliance with all unit and hospital protocols
- Requirements:
- Active NY RN License
- CNOR certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years experience in Operating Room preferably in a Level 1 trauma center
- Demonstrated experience with the DaVinci robotic surgical system (required)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Other: On-call rotation as per unit needs; no weekend or holiday shifts
