RN or LPN for LVA Health Rooms

Lehigh Valley Academy is seeking an RN or LPN for LVAs Health Rooms. This position is a full-time benefits eligible during the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Health Services:Provide nursing care and health services to students and staff including first aid medication administration and emergency care as needed.
• Health Assessment:Assess and evaluate the health needs of students making appropriate referrals and recommendations.
• Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for students and staff ensuring confidentiality and compliance with health regulations.
• Communication:Communicate effectively with parents guardians and school staff regarding student health concerns and issues.
• Collaboration:Work collaboratively with school administrators teachers and staff to support a safe and healthy school environment.
• Health Education:Provide health education and resources to students and staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania RNor LPN license required.
• Experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
