Job Duties:
In this role the RN or LPN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients families and co-workers.
About the Unit:
The 2nd floor Intermediate Unit is a 34-bed unit specializing in Progressive Care (PCU) or intermediate nursing. With nurse-to-patient ratios (4:1) our team provides high-quality care to adult patients with complex medical needs. Our unit is composed both experienced and new graduate nurses; we work as an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient centric care. Our team continues building our reputation as a unit everyone wants to be a part of because of teamwork clinical expertise and a supportive environment.
Qualifications:
Current Indiana or compact state RN or LPN license.
BLS for healthcare provider required.
ACLS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
