RN – Nurse Educator RNJM

Job Title: RN Nurse Educator

Location: New York NY

Contract Duration: 14 Weeks

Shift:
Day Shift Monday Friday
8:00 AM 4:30 PM
40 Hours Weekly

Responsibilities:
Provide clinical education and training to nursing staff
Develop and implement educational programs and competency assessments
Support orientation and onboarding of new nursing staff
Promote evidence-based nursing practices and patient safety initiatives
Collaborate with leadership teams to improve clinical performance and patient outcomes
Assist with staff development continuing education and compliance training
Evaluate nursing competencies and provide mentorship as needed

Requirements:
Minimum two (2) years of Med/Surg experience required
Minimum two (2) years of Perioperative (Periop) background required
Strong clinical nursing background required
Excellent communication teaching and leadership skills
Experience in nursing education staff training or clinical instruction preferred
Ability to support nursing competency development and performance improvement initiatives
Strong understanding of perioperative nursing standards and clinical workflows
Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program required
Masters Degree in Education required
Active New York State RN License required
Primary Source Verification of RN License and Registration from NYSED required
AHA BLS Certification required
