Location: Cincinnati Ohio
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift 3x12 Hours

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity Medical Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring and specialized medical management in a fast-paced acute care setting.

This role requires strong clinical judgment effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and patient status changes
• Administer medications treatments and IV therapies safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards hospital policies and patient safety guidelines

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing
• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• ACLS Certification (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification preferred/required upon hire
• Experience in Stepdown PCU Telemetry or Acute Care setting preferred

• BSN preferred
• Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
