Schedule: Nights 3x12 Hours
Hours: 36 Hours Weekly
- Traveler Pay: $60$65/hr ($2070$2242/week) based on experience
- Local Pay: $50$55/hr ($1725$1897/week) based on experience
We are seeking an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate evidence-based patient care within a mixed-acuity healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with a broad range of medical and surgical conditions while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure positive patient outcomes.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing assessment planning intervention implementation and evaluation processes
- Deliver patient-centered care to medical and surgical patients in a fast-paced acute care setting
- Float to a 3-bed ICU as needed to support patient care operations
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage patients requiring telemetry monitoring
- Administer and monitor medication drips including nitroglycerin diltiazem and amiodarone
- Assist with management of patients requiring BiPAP and CPAP support
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care plans
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and clinical records
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status
- Promote patient safety infection prevention and quality care standards
- Provide compassionate care while supporting patients and families throughout treatment and recovery
- Active New Hampshire State RN License
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- Current AHA ACLS Certification
- Strong Med Surg nursing experience required
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation preferred
- Experience managing medication drips and respiratory support equipment preferred
- Ability to float and assist in ICU settings as needed
- Strong clinical assessment critical-thinking and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a mixed-acuity patient care environment
