Shift & Schedule:12-Hour Shifts Days (7:00 AM 7:00 PM) or Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) Rotating Weekends

Base Compensation:Hourly rate scaled precisely to your years of experience:

• 1 YOE:$30.89 / hour
• 5 YOE:$35.02 / hour
• 10 YOE:$39.21 / hour
• 15 YOE:$43.25 / hourShift Differentials:Nights: $3.00/hr Weekends: $2.00/hr(Stackable)Sign-On & Relocation Bonuses:Evaluated on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Med-Surg Oncology for an exciting Local job in Tallahassee FL.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive clinical assessment data pertinent to oncology patients and their immediate healthcare needs.
• Analyze assessment findings and develop individualized evidence-based plans of care.
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Deliver specialized nursing care to adult oncology and medical-surgical patients.
• Advocate for patient safety comfort and individualized treatment preferences.
• Educate patients and families regarding medications treatment plans procedures and recovery expectations.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care.
• Ensure effective utilization of clinical supplies equipment and departmental resources.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Promote a patient-centered environment focused on quality outcomes and compassionate care.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact RN License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Med-Surg RN experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire; required within 6 months.
• Previous Oncology nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment patient education and care coordination skills.
• Experience working in fast-paced acute care environments.

Unit Details

• Patient-to-Nurse Ratio: 1:5 to 1:6.
