Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Long Term Care (LTC)

Location: Velva ND
Shift: Day Shift Variable Schedule 12-Hour Shifts
Hours: 36 Hours per Week
Duration: 813 Weeks (as per facility need)
Facility Type: Long Term Care / Nursing Home

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long Term Care assignment in Velva North Dakota. This role is ideal for a nurse dedicated to providing high-quality patient-centered care in a skilled nursing environment.

The RN will be responsible for delivering direct resident care ensuring safety and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support positive resident outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting

• Administer medications treatments and IV therapies as prescribed

• Assess monitor and document residents physical and emotional conditions

• Identify and report changes in patient condition appropriately

• Collaborate with physicians CNAs therapists and care team members

• Assist with admissions discharges and care transitions

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies

• Promote resident dignity safety comfort and independence

• Follow facility policies infection control standards and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required

• Previous LTC SNF or similar experience preferred

• Current BLS certification required

• Strong assessment documentation and medication administration skills

• Ability to work variable day shifts including 12-hour schedules

• Excellent communication teamwork and critical thinking skills

• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to geriatric care

• Ability to work independently and adapt to facility needs
