Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Long Term Care (LTC)
Location: Velva ND Shift: Day Shift Variable Schedule 12-Hour Shifts Hours: 36 Hours per Week Duration: 813 Weeks (as per facility need) Facility Type: Long Term Care / Nursing Home
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long Term Care assignment in Velva North Dakota. This role is ideal for a nurse dedicated to providing high-quality patient-centered care in a skilled nursing environment.
The RN will be responsible for delivering direct resident care ensuring safety and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support positive resident outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
Administer medications treatments and IV therapies as prescribed
Assess monitor and document residents physical and emotional conditions
Identify and report changes in patient condition appropriately
Collaborate with physicians CNAs therapists and care team members
Assist with admissions discharges and care transitions
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies
Promote resident dignity safety comfort and independence
Follow facility policies infection control standards and regulatory guidelines
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Previous LTC SNF or similar experience preferred
Current BLS certification required
Strong assessment documentation and medication administration skills
Ability to work variable day shifts including 12-hour schedules
Excellent communication teamwork and critical thinking skills
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to geriatric care
Ability to work independently and adapt to facility needs
