Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in a Long Term Care (LTC) setting located within a hospital-based facility. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to residents requiring intermediate and long-term care services ensuring high-quality patient-centered outcomes.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform patient assessments treatments and ongoing evaluations.

Administer medications and ensure accurate documentation of all care provided.

Communicate critical patient updates to physicians and nurse practitioners.

Assist with admissions discharges and care transitions.

Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).

Deliver specialized nursing care including:

Gastrostomy tube (G-tube) care
-
Urinary catheter care
-
Nebulized treatments
-
Wound vacuum (Wound Vac) management
-
CPAP therapy support
-
Tracheostomy care
-
-
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Follow all safety infection control and regulatory standards.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

8-hour varied shifts
-
Must be available for days evenings nights weekends and holidays

Flexibility required; no guarantee of set schedule or shift preference

Minimum of one (1) year of Long Term Care or Registered Nurse experience required.

Must possess an active Hawaii RN license prior to start of assignment.

Candidates without an active license must apply upon acceptance of offer.

Strong clinical assessment critical thinking and patient care skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced variable staffing environment.

Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS)
