RN Long Tern Care House Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor for a Long-Term Care (LTC) travel assignment. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing nursing operations during assigned shifts ensuring high-quality resident care supporting clinical staff and maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills extensive nursing experience and the ability to effectively manage patient care operations in a long-term care setting.

• Provide administrative and clinical oversight for nursing operations during assigned shifts.

• Supervise and support nursing staff ensuring adherence to established policies procedures and standards of care.

• Coordinate resident care activities and assist with staffing assignments based on patient acuity and census.

• Serve as a resource for clinical staff regarding patient care concerns emergency situations and operational issues.

• Monitor resident conditions and facilitate timely communication with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.

• Assist with admissions transfers discharges and care coordination as needed.

• Ensure compliance with state federal and facility regulations.

• Address patient family and staff concerns professionally and effectively.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and risk management activities.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record system.

• Active Hawaii Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to the start of the assignment.

• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required.

• Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required.

• Prior supervisory charge nurse or leadership experience strongly preferred.

• Strong communication organizational critical thinking and decision-making skills.

• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)

• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

• Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN)

• STABLE Program

• Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS)

• Additional specialty certifications relevant to nursing leadership and patient care

• Rotating shifts

• 40 hours per week

• Must be available to work consecutive weekends as needed

• Holiday coverage required

• Long-Term Care (LTC) setting

• Coordinate staffing and workflow during assigned shifts.

• Candidates must possess an active Hawaii RN license prior to the start of the assignment.
