RN Long Term Acute Care (LTAC)

Location: Joplin Missouri

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Compensation:

• Local Rate: $1400 $1620 weekly
• Traveler Rate: $1700 $1900 weekly

Schedule:

• Day Shift
• 3 x 12-Hour Shifts

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care in a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting. The RN will manage medically complex patients requiring extended recovery including those with chronic and critical conditions.

• Active Missouri RN License required
• BLS (AHA) Certification required
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required

• Complex Medical and Chronic Condition Management
• IV Therapy and Medication Administration
• Wound Care and Specialized Treatments
• Patient Monitoring and Assessment
• Emergency Response and Critical Thinking
• Care Plan Development and Implementation
• Discharge Planning and Patient Education
• Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration
• Accurate Clinical Documentation

• Provide direct nursing care to LTAC patients with complex medical needs
• Administer medications IV therapies and prescribed treatments
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes or emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop treatment plans
• Educate patients and families regarding care and recovery
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care
