Job Summary
We are seeking experiencedRegistered Nurses (RNs)specializing inLabor & Delivery. The position involves caring for mothers and babies in a low-level trauma acute-care hospital environment.
The ideal candidate should have Labor & Delivery experience fetal monitoring skills and the ability to recognize and respond to abnormal fetal heart-rate patterns.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients.
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery.
• Perform and interpret fetal monitoring.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to abnormal fetal heart-rate patterns.
• Use external fetal monitoring equipment.
• Assist with Labor & Delivery procedures.
• Provide care for high-risk patients.
• Float to the Mother/Baby unit when required.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapy Respiratory Services Phlebotomy Radiology Rapid Response Teams and Pharmacy.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow hospital policies.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum1 year of experiencerequired.
• 2 years of experience preferred.
• Charge experience preferred.
• Labor & Delivery experience.
• Ability to work with high-risk patients.
• Experience with fetal monitoring.
• Experience recognizing and treating abnormal fetal heart-rate patterns.
• Travel experience isnot required.
• California RN license required.
• Two supervisor references obtained within the last 18 months are required for submission.

• ACLS
• AWHONN Advanced
• BLS
• NRP
