Core Job Responsibilities Patient Assessment & Planning: Perform systematic and continuous nursing assessments before during and after surgical and endoscopy procedures. Perioperative Care: Safely transport prep and recover patients monitoring vitals and responding appropriately to post-anesthesia complications. Sterile Field Management: Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols sterile technique and operating room terminal cleaning processes. Team Collaboration: Assist surgeons and anaesthesia providers by anticipating equipment needs passing instruments and managing surgical counts. Patient Liaison: Function as the primary bridge of communication between the surgical team the patient and the patients family members. Key Requirements Licensure: Current Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license or a valid compact state license. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are standard requirements
