PRN
Baptist Health Imaging where compassionate care meets advanced imaging and treatment. Our Imaging Department encompasses multiple services including Computed Tomography Diagnostic X-Ray Interventional Radiology Magnetic Resonance Imaging Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Imaging and pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art equipment as well as accessibility and providing services throughout the community including surrounding areas. Our team works closely with other departments such as surgery and oncology to provide the best care for all patients. Key Responsibilities:
Provide patient-centered nursing care focusing on healing and wellness.
Respect the dignity uniqueness and holistic needs of each patient (mind body spirit).
Practice based on evidence research policies procedures and professional guidelines.
Use critical thinking creativity and all phases of the nursing process in clinical decision-making.
Promote nursing excellence through collaborative relationships with nursing and other healthcare disciplines.
Serve as a model of compassion empathy and respect in the nursing profession.
Provide direct patient care (>50% of time) through:
Nursing rounds assessments and treatments.
Facilitating admissions transfers and discharges.
Patient and family-centered education.
Care coordination and individualized treatment planning.
Requirements:
Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
Bachelors degree in nursing or associates degree with 10 years of experience.
If hired with an associates degree must enroll in a BSN program within 12 months and complete it within 5 years.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
ACLS/PALS/NRP certification (as required by the department).
Successful completion of dysrhythmia class (as required).
