Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Registered Nurse (RN) you will be a pivotal healthcare professional delivering compassionate high-quality care that truly impacts our patients well-being and recovery.

  • Completes a thorough pre-operative assessment on all assigned patients. Makes sure all test results History and Physical and consents are on chart prior to surgery.
  • Performs assessment on pediatric and geriatric patients taking into consideration the physiological and anatomical differences specific to each age group. Identifies any specific consideration that may be necessary related to each age specific group.
  • Observes identifies and collects data to identify nursing care needs of the patients.
  • Identifies supplies instruments and equipment needed for the procedure surgeons preference card age and specific needs of patients.
  • Plans for the coordination of support intraoperative period i.e. x-ray pathology etc.
  • Provides quality nursing care based on patients needs and plan of care. Supervises the care given by Surgical Techs.
Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • Registered Nurse: CA RN license
  • Basic Life Support - CPR BLS within 30 Days
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS within 30 Days
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support - PALS within 30 Days
  • Nursing Assessment Planning Implementation and Evaluation of Patient Care Satisfied CBO/Annual Competency Valuation Program Requirements
