Weekly Working Hours: 36 hours plus

Shift: 12 Hour Night Shifts

Join our Suburban Nursing Team as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse and become part of world-renowned Johns Hopkins Health System!

Unit Info:

  • Emergency Department Trauma Unit

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland (or other Nurse Licensure Compact state)
  • Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nurses
  • Associates degree in nursing (ADN) required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months RN acute care experience. Preferred 2-year ED Hospital experience or more.
  • Ability to response/care for patients requiring level 1 and level 2 critical care setting preferred.
  • Skilled in rapid assessment and triage preferred.
  • Ability to respond/care for urgent strokes and STEMI preferred.
  • Code Blue and Rapid Response team experience preferred.

Applicants with an Associates degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program may be considered; provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 4 years of hire

Salary Range: Minimum 43.25/hour - Maximum 67.04/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
