Job Summary
The ICU unit at Mercy Pittsburg has 12 beds with a mixed population critical care department that serves a multitude of patient populations. The variation of acuity creates a nursing landscape prime for growth of both knowledge and skill set.
Weekend Option - Day & Night Shift Available!
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Qualifications:
Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
Experience: Preferred experience in Critical Care setting
License: Current RN license in our state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
