Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide high-quality compassionate care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment the ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition and effective collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of critically ill patients.
Identify changes in patient condition and escalate concerns promptly.
Administer medications vasoactive drips blood products and other advanced therapies in accordance with ICU protocols and individualized care plans.
Manage ventilators invasive lines and advanced monitoring equipment.
Assist physicians and providers with complex bedside procedures.
Accurately interpret document and communicate clinical findings and patient responses.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans ICU processes and discharge expectations.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during rounds and throughout the shift to coordinate care and promote continuity.
Requirements
Current or temporary North Dakota RN license or active compact RN license required.
ICU experience required.
BLS certification required
