Job Summary

Job Title: RN ICU (Critical Care)

Location: Mayfield Heights OH
Job Type: Contract 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (3x12s)
Hours: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy ICU team. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience excellent clinical judgment and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced intensive care environment while delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor changes in patient condition
Administer medications treatments and specialized interventions as ordered
Operate and monitor critical care equipment and life-support systems
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Respond rapidly to patient emergencies and changes in clinical status
Accurately document patient assessments interventions and outcomes in the electronic medical record
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care needs
Ensure compliance with hospital policies safety standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

Active Ohio RN License or Active Compact State RN License required
Minimum 18 months of recent ICU experience required
Minimum 18 months of permanent ICU experience prior to any travel assignments required
Current AHA BLS Certification required
Current AHA ACLS Certification required
Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
Experience working in high-acuity critical care environments preferred
Must successfully complete ECG Rhythm Recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
