RN- Endoscopy (Full-Time, Days)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides patient care in accordance with the standards policies and practices of Enloe Medical Center. The Registered Nurse prioritizes patient needs and coordinates patient care. This nurse through collaboration with the healthcare team assures continuity of care during the pre-procedural intra procedural and post-procedural period of the patient GI experience.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:

Minimum:

• One year of RN experience or three years GI Tech experience

Desired:

• One year GI or Endoscopy experience
• One year critical care nursing experience

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

• Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
• Current CPR recognition
• Current ACLS recognition

Desired:

• Certified Gastrointestinal Registered Nurse (CGRN)

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

Must demonstrate technical competence professional clinical judgment communication skills and sensitivity for the patient having a diagnostic/therapeutic procedure and the patients family. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
