Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Hyannis MA
Job Type: Contract 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift
Schedule: 3 x 12-Hour Shifts 36 Hours/Week
Hours: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The ideal candidate will have strong emergency nursing experience excellent clinical judgment and the ability to thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

Deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment planning implementation and evaluation
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Perform comprehensive physical psychological and social assessments
Develop and update individualized patient care plans
Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and nursing documentation
Function as Charge Nurse when assigned
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to staff and new team members
Participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives
Adhere to infection control safety and blood/body fluid protocols
Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain patient confidentiality and deliver exceptional patient-centered care

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License
Current BLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience required
Minimum 1 year of ER travel nursing experience required
Strong emergency patient assessment and triage experience
Experience with ventilator care
Experience with telemetry monitoring

Preferred Certifications:

TNCC
ENPC
PALS
Approved De-escalation Certification
