Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a contract assignment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented emergency department and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities-
Assess plan implement and evaluate nursing care for emergency department patients.

Provide rapid assessment and intervention for acute illnesses injuries and emergencies.

Collaborate with physicians advanced practice providers and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Administer medications treatments and emergency procedures in accordance with established protocols.

Monitor patient conditions and document care accurately in the electronic medical record.

Assist with trauma behavioral health and cardiac monitoring cases.

Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.

Maintain compliance with hospital policies safety standards and regulatory requirements.

22 Cardiac Monitoring Rooms

Fast-paced environment with high patient turnover

Strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration

Night shifts
-
Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours weekly) following orientation

Holiday coverage required

Hours are not guaranteed

Active Hawaii Registered Nurse (RN) License by assignment start date

Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
-
Experience working in high-volume emergency departments

Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment

Candidate must obtain and maintain all required licensure and certifications before the start of the assignment.

Must be available for required onboarding and employee health clearance prior to beginning work.
