Job Summary

Job Title: RN - Emergency Department (Main)
Location: Cincinnati OH
Type: Travel / Contract Assignment 8 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift 36 Hours/Week 7:00 AM 7:00 PM 3x12-Hour Shifts 3 Days/Week

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking RN - Emergency Department (Main) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Cincinnati OH.

Responsibilities

  • Perform rapid triage and comprehensive patient assessments in emergency settings
  • Stabilize and manage high-acuity adult patients with cardiac and medical emergencies
  • Implement emergency interventions based on physician orders and clinical protocols
  • Monitor and interpret vital signs telemetry and critical patient data
  • Administer emergency medications IV therapies and life-saving interventions
  • Assist in trauma response and critical care procedures
  • Coordinate care with physicians trauma surgeons and multidisciplinary ED team
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide patient and family education during emergency visits and discharge
  • Ensure adherence to ANA standards and Ohio Nurse Practice Act

Qualifications

  • Active Ohio RN License or Compact State RN License
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
  • ACLS Certification (American Heart Association)
  • PALS Certification (American Heart Association)
  • Minimum Diploma in Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Strong emergency or acute care clinical experience preferred
  • Ability to perform under high-pressure fast-paced conditions
  • Excellent critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills
  • Prior Emergency Department (ED) ICU or critical care experience preferred
  • Experience with high-acuity cardiac and internal medicine cases preferred
  • Strong teamwork and communication in multidisciplinary environments
  • Ability to manage multiple critical patients simultaneously
